No. CB4C is a web app — it runs in your phone's browser. For the full app experience (camera scanning, offline use, home screen icon), just tap "Add to Home Screen" in your browser after signing up. It behaves exactly like a native app with no App Store download required.
We're targeting launch within 60–90 days of hitting 50,000 waitlist signups. You'll receive an email the moment the app goes live. Your account will be pre-created and ready to use with your founding member rate already applied.
The app uses your phone's camera to capture a photo of a barcode or product. Claude AI then identifies the item, estimates the price based on the store you're at, and adds it to your running total. Over time, it remembers prices at stores you visit frequently and gets more accurate automatically.
If you cancel your subscription, you lose your founding member rate. If you resubscribe, you'll be at the current pricing at that time. We recommend pausing rather than canceling if you think you'll return — we'll build a pause feature specifically for founding members.
